The machine is compact in the structure and it is short ,the centre of gravity is lower,easy operation, stable when working. the cutting head is driven by motors, and it can be both available in the horizontal axis or vertical axis form.  You can choose either Φ750x1350 or Φ800x1500 horizontal axis cutting head, the cutting speed is good when it is cutting the coal layer which hardness is less than average.

The differences between this roadheader and traditional roadheader are as follows :

The cutting arms are the combinations of two arms.they are connected with axis pins, the going up and down of the arms are controlled by 4 hydraulic cylinders and its rotary movement is controlled by the other two cylinders.

The advantages are as follows:

Because the arms are narrow, so, the driver can see more spaces of front.the big arm and the small arm interacts each other, so, it will be more flexible for the cutting arms.

When the forearm turns back and in the middle position,it is just 180 mm distance to the shovel board, when it is in either side,it is just 100 mm, the distance from cutting head to the shovel board is greatly reduced.

Because the cutting head is rotating,the coals being broken is thrown to the shovel board, it is better in assisting loading, the contradiction of droping coal fast and loading coal slow.
